The last thing I did in Paris was head up to the rooftop panorama deck of Montparnasse Tower. Built in the 1970s, this 59-story skyscraper is still the tallest building in Paris proper, and from the top you get a breathtaking 360° view. I’d say it’s the best view in Paris, hands down. Go about half an hour before sunset—you’ll catch the sun dipping low and then watch the Eiffel Tower light up the night. They’ve even added a big “Paris” sign for the Instagram crowd. Definitely put this near the top of your Paris list.
